In 1971, an American student who was studying Chemistry at the Free University of Berlin, Germany stumbled upon a local perfumery. She was captivated with the array of beautiful perfume essences. She began mixing them and creating perfumes, and learning the art of French perfumery. She also traveled to Paris, France and widened her knowledge of aromatic raw ingredients, and gained a real passion for rare and precious perfumes. She became known as MADAM THELMA (Fraulein Thelma).
