In 1971, an American student who was studying at the Free University of Berlin, Germany stumbled upon a local perfumery. She was captivated with the array of beautiful perfume essences. She began mixing them and creating perfumes, and learning the art of French perfumery. She became known as MADAM THELMA. (Fraulein Thelma)
Madam Thelma's natural gift of fragrance design quickly moved her to the top of the “it” list in the fragrance and beauty industry, becoming one of the most dynamic and in-demand perfumers. She has designed fragrances leading department stores, fashion designers and fashion industry insiders, celebrieies, kings and their queens. She designs rare and exclusive, precious perfumes and colognes that delight the senses. She features captivating, exotic potions. Complimentary gift wrapping with all purchases.
All products are pure and ORGANIC. Perfumery is an art where inspiration meets invention in combination with science and nature. A beautiful perfume is accomplished through a balance blend between fragrant notes. This results in a scent with it's own personality and creates an aura for the wearer which is distinctive and makes a statement that is unique.
Education was important for Madam Thelma, who is also from a family of renowned educators. She is a direct descendent of Dr. Evester Massengale, former President of Wiley College, home of the Great Debate Team, in Marshall, Texas. A major Hollywood motion picture, "The Great Debaters" was released in 2007, acknowledging the accomplishments of a 1930's debate team, at a historically African-American College, Wiley College. The leading role was played by leading Hollywood actor Danzell Washington and was produced by Oprah Winfrey. Madam Thelma is also a direct descendent of Dr. Obie Massengale of Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Dr. Eula Massengale of Alcorn State University, Dr. Kitty Reed of San Diego, California, Dr. G. Valentine of Atlanta, Georgia, and Charles "Chuck" Reece of the Tuskegee Airman's Association. Madam Thelma's parents were both graduates of Wiley College.
